Who to contact
Drying Notes is a US-focused publication. Contact [email protected] with a question about this site or a privacy request. This policy describes the static website and the optional analytics implemented here.
Essential site delivery
Cloudflare is the planned host. Loading a hosted page can involve network information such as an IP address, browser details and requested URL for delivery and security. The site has no customer accounts, checkout or contact form. Emailing us shares the information you include with the mailbox provider.
Email notes
The planned email notes are not open for signup. No newsletter provider is connected, no email-entry form is active, and this site does not collect or store newsletter email addresses. Contacting us or allowing analytics does not subscribe you.
Optional Google Analytics 4
With your permission, Google Analytics helps us understand page use and selected buying-link clicks. The implemented click event sends the merchant, product identifier and page path, not a customer name, email, payment record or complete affiliate URL. Advertising storage, Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled by this implementation.
Optional Microsoft Clarity
With your permission, Clarity can analyse interaction patterns such as clicks and scrolling and provide session visualisations. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the site. We do not implement a visitor identity field or feed Clarity a customer account identifier.
Your choice
Optional analytics libraries do not load until you allow analytics. You can decline and use every page. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your decision; withdrawal reloads the page to unload previously enabled libraries. A browser privacy signal keeps optional analytics off. Your choice is stored locally for up to 180 days.
Local previews and external links
Local files, localhost and preview domains do not send this implementation’s analytics. Buying links take you to Amazon with affiliate attribution parameters. External websites apply their own privacy practices. Product images are served from the site’s own asset directory.
Retention and requests
Analytics retention is controlled in the respective Google and Microsoft accounts; no unverified retention period is promised here. Contact us about access, correction or deletion requests and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive details. We will review the request and the data actually held.
